BetterU

This group collaborative project examined the issue of the lack of exercise and healthy eating among college students across the country. Our objective was to design a solution and provide awareness along with time and budget options for students. We conducted primary and secondary research, prototyping and a final design based on our findings. The overall solution consisted of three primary areas, a Facebook campaign, a video series for social media and the development of an app. Our group also produced and distributed a series of car flyers provided to off-campus students. We received positive feedback and had good results overall.

 

BetterU was created with a double meaning in mind. First, we wanted to promote the better lifestyle of overall wellness in students. Second, the letter ‘U’ represents the individual while emphasizing the target market to whom we are catering, university students. The colors were chosen specifically for a natural and eye catching feel, and the typeface provides a nice look while existing in a casual setting.
