Simple Harmonies is the name of a book cover I designed.  This topic discusses the structure and fundamental building blocks of music.

 

I designed the cover to match the title and the topic of the book. It discusses the importance of each instrument and how music is made from a simple harmony of each of these instruments. The colors create a cool and calm feeling, and the pattern covering the book is a simplified version of sheet music.  All of the instruments on the front cover are important pieces in forming a complete sound. They are placed together into a joining pattern, but each is a unique, simple shape.
